  • Device and usage data (IP address, browser, device type, pages viewed, time on page, referring/exit pages)

  • Cookies and similar technologies (pixels, tags, SDKs) for functionality, analytics, and ads

  • Payment processors (transaction status—no full card numbers)

  • Fulfillment partners (shipping status/tracking)

2) How we use your information.

To process orders and deliver products (order confirmation, shipping, returns)

4) Payments and fulfillment (third-party services)

We use reputable providers to keep payment data secure and get orders to you:

  • Payments: Stripe (and optional BNPL partners like Affirm/Klarna via Stripe). We do not store full card details.

  • Storefront: Squarespace

  • Order routing/fulfillment: Order Desk and trusted printing/fulfillment partners (e.g., Proforma or others we engage)

  • Email: Flodesk (marketing and post-purchase flows)

  • Community (if applicable): Skool (accounts, posts, messages)

These providers process your data under their own privacy terms. We share only what’s necessary to provide the service.

5) Community & user-generated content

If you join our community or publicly tag us:

  • You’re responsible for the content you post. Please avoid sharing sensitive personal information.

  • We may re-share public posts that feature our products. If you prefer we don’t re-share, email us at support@refinementlabs.com with a link to the post.

  • We may moderate community spaces for safety and alignment with our guidelines.

6) Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above:

  • Orders and tax/finance records: retained as required by law

  • Accounts and marketing preferences: retained while active or until you request deletion/unsubscribe

  • Analytics data: retained per our tools’ default/configured windows

We’ll delete or de-identify information when no longer needed, subject to legal requirements.

7) Your rights and choices

Email marketing: Unsubscribe anytime via the link in our emails or email support@refinementlabs.com.

U.S. state privacy rights (e.g., CA/CO/CT/VA/UT and others): You may have the right to:

  • Access/know and request a copy of your personal information

  • Correct inaccuracies

  • Delete your information

  • Opt out of targeted advertising and sale/sharing of personal information

  • Appeal a denied request

Submit requests at support@refinementlabs.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject (and note your state). We’ll verify your identity before responding. Authorized agents may submit on your behalf where permitted.

EEA/UK/Swiss: You may have rights to access, rectify, delete, restrict, or object to processing, and data portability. You can also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

8) Children’s privacy

Our site and products are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable). We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

9) How we share information

We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers/contractors who perform services for us (payments, shipping, IT, analytics, marketing) under confidentiality and use limitations

  • Legal and safety purposes (compliance with laws, responding to lawful requests, protecting rights and safety)

  • Business transfers (if we undergo a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may transfer as part of that transaction)

10) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you believe your account or transaction has been compromised, contact us immediately.

11) International data transfers

If you access our site from outside the U.S., your information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries that may have different data protection laws than your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).

12) Links to other sites

We may link to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

Categories collected: Identifiers (name, email, address), commercial information (orders), internet activity (site usage), geolocation (coarse IP-based), inferences (for personalization), and user content you submit.
